                             Gate Automation

Choosing the right gate automation system for your home...

We supply & install BFT systems as they hold the widest range of high quality gate operators, they also have 30 years in the industry & hold a ISO 9001 certification.

There are a few different ways of automating gates and they are as follows:

Underground Operators:

These motors fit flush with your driveway and are aesthetically pleasing. Hydraulic & mechanical versions are available for all types of gates.

Post Mounted Operator:

A wide range of both Hydraulic and Mechanical post mounted operators are available to suit every budget and application, for both metal and timber gates.

Sliding Gate Operator:

These are increasingly popular, they take up very little space and allo the whole of your driveway to be utilised for parking. There are many sizes available for diffent gate sizes.

Garage Door Operators:

These are available for up and over doors or hinged double doors too, as a conversion kit is available. They are very quite when they operate and also have anti-squash features so they will stop if there is an object in their way.

Convenience, Security, Peace of Mind:

Manual gates are often left open, electric gates automatically shut leaving your property constantly secure. They also help to keep your children or pets in, while keeping passers by out, providing added security for your family.

Who will be using it?

You need to consider who will be needing access through the gates. If you are having automated gates they are permanently locked, so you need to ask yourself if there is an entrance for the postman, visitors etc.

Do you need an intercom or is there a pedestrian entrance? Whatever your needs we can find a solution for you.

Bollards:

For commercial and industrial premises Gates Systems provide a range of traffic control bollards to suit a variety of applications.

These are fast acting systems, moving from open to closed positions in 3 – 6 seconds, and suitable for busy entrances where an automated gate would be too slow.

Bollards are used both stand alone and in conjunction with security gates which are closed out of normal business hours to provide intruder security.

A wide range of access control equipment ; Radio Controls, Card Readers, Loop Detectors etc, can be interfaced with these units to suit the requirements of individual entrances.
